Servings: 16 squares

Use this recipe when you have to bring food for a children’s celebration, to share with co-workers, or keep all to yourself.

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 cup erythritol or xylitol

2 organic eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 Tbsp cornstarch

1/2 cup almond meal

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (sweetened with stevia or other natural sweetener) - We used Krisda from Whole Foods

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a 9" square pan with parchment paper. Combine melted butter and cocoa and stir to combine.

Add erythritol (xylitol), eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.

Add the almond meal, corn starch, baking powder and salt and mix to combine.

Spread into the prepared baking pan and bake 30 minutes.
